BALTIMORE, MD. June 27, 2017— The General Services Administration (GSA) awarded Audacious Inquiry (Ai) the 8(a) STARS II Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). This vehicle can be used by any federal agency, including Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), Indian Health Services (IHS), and the Social Security Administration (SSA) to acquire customized IT solutions from a large, diverse pool of industry partners like Audacious Inquiry. The contract vehicle has a ceiling of $10B over next 10 years.
Audacious Inquiry’s nationally recognized experts will provide strategic healthcare consulting, agile development capabilities, software-as-a-service and other technology services to our federal customers through this vehicle. Ai’s experience in implementing outcomes-driven solutions for the healthcare industry will bring a unique perspective to providing services to the federal agencies. In addition to the strategic consulting and software services, Ai will also bring healthcare products such as CAliPHR®, Encounter Notification Service® (ENS®), and the Unified Landing Page™ to the healthcare stakeholders.
“We are excited to be a part of this GSA vehicle as Ai works to become more deeply involved in developing health IT solutions for the federal government”, said Chris Brandt, Managing Partner at Ai. “We have built a positive track record in our work with Health & Human Services (HHS) divisions over the past several years, and this contract vehicle provides us the opportunity to efficiently serve a broader array of federal agencies which are interested in more efficient and effective healthcare delivery as enabled by IT.”
Earlier this year, the company was awarded the Strategic Partners Acquisition Readiness Contract (SPARC), a contract worth up to $25 Billion over 10 years. As a SPARC awardee, Ai is positioned to support CMS and HHS on projects that support Medicaid, Medicare and Marketplace initiatives.
Audacious Inquiry (Ai) is a health information technology and policy company working to make healthcare smarter and more connected. As a certified B-Corporation, Ai uses the “power of business” to solve social problems and provide public benefit.
