Maryland First to Receive Federal Approval for State Health IT Plan

 The state of Maryland’s health IT plan for the federal government was recently approved, which will allow Maryland to begin receiving federal funding to be used by CRISP for the development and implementation of Maryland’s state designated health information exchange (HIE). Maryland was one of the first three states to receive this approval.  See article on Maryland Given Green Light on Health IT Exchange Plan for more information.
