Audacious Inquiry is seeking a technically-savvy and high-energy professional to fill an interface lead position in the healthcare field. The successful incumbent will have the opportunity to play a lead role in the stimulus-funded revolution in health IT. The incumbent will have the opportunity to participate in large scale hospital system and health exchange projects and must have good communication skills and the ability to lead projects from vision to delivery in partnership with other development resources. The job will entail working closely with healthcare and other clients to ensure business needs are met by implemented solutions. Qualifying Skills: Interface experience is required. Experience with healthcare application integration using HL7, EDI, and DICOM standards is preferred. Experience with coding/vocabulary standards, such as LOINC, ICD-9, NDC, NCPDP, CPT, etc is desired. Experience developing and managing healthcare system interfaces with one of the interface engine products, e.g. Cloverleaf Interface Engine is preferred. Good understanding of technical and workflow challenges within a healthcare enterprise is a plus. Knowledge of SQL and scripting are big pluses, as well as Linux OS.
Other Qualifications: A desire to be great. Experience in a healthcare or healthcare support industry is strongly desired, as well as familiarity with healthcare messaging and interoperability standards. A quantitative degree (computer science & engineering, economics, etc.) is preferred though not required.
