BALTIMORE, August 17, 2015 – Inc. magazine has ranked Audacious Inquiry #1611 on its 34th annual Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs. Companies such as Yelp, Pandora, Dell, Under Armour, LinkedIn, and many other well-known names gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 5000.
This marks Ai’s 5th consecutive year of being recognized on the Inc. 5000. Ai further distinguished itself as part of an elite group of approximately one-fifth of the companies listed annually that have earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 for five years in a row. Ai has steadily climbed in the Inc. 5000 results, initially entering the list at #2735 in 2011.
Since 2008, Ai has grown from less than a dozen employees to over 65 full time staff. Health IT solutions and services provided by Ai have propelled the company’s growth, along with its nationally recognized expertise and partnerships with several statewide health information organizations. Ai has built and marketed its own care coordination-enabling solution called Encounter Notification Service® (ENS®) which enables notifications to be sent to healthcare stakeholders in real time. The ENS service offers critical insights to physicians, hospitals, and health systems, while providing measurable value to payers. Beginning in 2011 with Maryland’s statewide HIE, called CRISP, to present day, Ai has now deployed the ENS platform for over 12 million subscribed patients in Maryland and Washington DC, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Utah, and Florida.
“It is exciting to earn a place on the Inc. 5000 annual list. This year holds even more significance for Ai because this is our 5th year in a row, and the quality and performance of the thousands of companies considered for recognition were highly impressive,” stated Chris Brandt, Ai Managing Partner.
Mr. Brandt further commented, “Our ascent in the rankings over five consecutive years reflects steadfast teamwork, commitment and perseverance in delivering results for our customers. Today’s current U.S. healthcare delivery system and care coordination platforms are ripe for transformation and modernization. We look forward to more opportunities to continue expanding Ai’s market leadership.”

Methodology
The Inc. 500|5000 is a list of the fastest-growing private companies in the nation. Started in 1982, this prestigious list of the nation’s most successful private companies has become the hallmark of entrepreneurial success. The 2015 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2011 to 2014. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2011.
