BALTIMORE, MD. November 29, 2017—Audacious Inquiry’s CAliPR has achieved 2015 Edition Health IT Module Certification via Drummond Group LLC, an Authorized Certification Body (ACB) that has been empowered to test software for compliance with the requirements of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology’s (ONC-Health IT)’s program. This stamp of approval designates that the software offers the functionality that enables eligible providers and hospitals to meet Meaningful Use requirements, qualifying these organizations to receive payments under the ongoing EHR adoption program (as well as newer Value-Based Payment models such as CPC+).
“CAliPR was developed to reduce the reporting burdens faced by providers today, who are required to report CQMs as part of a value-base or incentive payment programs. By aggregating data from healthcare settings across a community, as CAliPR does, CQM results can be more complete and accurate, thus leading to potential improvement in provider performance,” says Scott Afzal, Partner with Audacious Inquiry.
To earn the certification, CAliPR was tested to be in accordance with applicable standards and certification criteria put forth by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). With more than 15 years of testing experience across various industries, Drummond Group LLC (DG) brings a high level of technical expertise to this process. Its healthcare experience runs deep, having certified hundreds of EHRs since becoming an ACB in 2010.
CAliPR, which met the requirements for 2015 Edition of ONC Certification, is designed to calculate and report CQMs at an organization, practice, provider, and payment structure levels, to support providers participating in incentive and value-based payment programs. Through integration with master patient index (MPI) technology, CAliPR has the unique ability to aggregate patient data from multiple healthcare settings for purposes of comprehensive quality measurement.

This Health IT Module is 2015 Edition compliant and has been certified by an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Mandatory Cost & Limitations Disclosure
This certified product-version may require a one-time cost to establish an interface per practice and yearly licensing/maintenance charges to support ongoing data feeds from their EHR to CAliPR for eCQM reporting (170.315.c1 and 3). If a user elects to transmit their clinical data to CAliPR using the C-CDA instead of the QRDA Category 1 data format, the number of CQMs possible, and the accuracy of their results may be impacted.
This certified product-version is certified to calculate eCQMs from various standard formats, e.g. C-CDA and QRDA (170.315.c2). However, there may be an upfront or time and materials charge to evaluate a user’s C-CDA or QRDA Category I files, to ensure data quality and mapping is in place for reliable and accurate results.
This certified product-version is certified to filter eCQM results at both patient and aggregate levels based on the following data elements: TIN, NPI, Provider Type, Practice Site Address, Patient Insurance, Patient Age, Patient Sex, Patient Race and Ethnicity, and Patient Problem List (170.315.c4). However, if a user elects to transmit their clinical data to CAliPR using the C-CDA instead of the QRDA Category 1 data format, the data necessary to properly use filter functionality may not exist, so the functionality will not work. For example, if TIN is not included in the C-CDA, that filtering functionality will not work properly.
