Images

The media gallery can present both images and videos, selectable by tabs. If either no videos or no images are populated (i.e. if there is only one type of media) the tabs are not necessary and do not appear.

Images will flow into columns of equal height from top to bottom, divided up as equally as is possible to distribute. Images with different dimensions can make the thumbnails have an interesting layout. This is by design. If you prefer that your gallery thumbs line up evenly, then all image thumbnails must be of the same dimensions.

Note that it is possible to choose an alternative thumbnail, as is demonstrated below by the image of the adorable kitten.

Videos

You can either place a Youtube video link or a WISTIA embed. You must upload a poster image for the video. The play icon is placed on top automatically; you do not need to embed one in your poster image.  Optimal dimensions are 640px x 360px.  Automatic cropping is done on any image that is uploaded, so if it is longer than it is wider, it will likely display nicely.
