Audacious Inquiry’s Julie Boughn Recognized as a 2018 FedHealthIT100 Awardee for Contributions in Modernizing Enterprise Health IT

Julie Boughn Appears on FedHealthIT100

BALTIMORE, MD. December 18, 2017—For the second consecutive year, Audacious Inquiry’s Julie Boughn has been selected to be among FedHealthIT Magazine’s list of top 100 Federal Health Information Technology (IT) leaders who challenge conventional wisdom and go above and beyond to drive innovation. To appear on this prestigious list, individuals must be nominated and chosen by their peers.

FedHealthIT’s print and digital publication is a trusted source for relevant news, information, and insights impacting Government and Industry decision makers. In the Winter 2018 edition within the Letter from the Editor, David Blackburn emphasizes the importance of execution among the federal health sector over the upcoming year. The individuals who make up the FedHealthIT100 list hold positions that can have an impact on policy and direction—the Federal Health sector is the driving force behind what he states as, “The types of transformation that will define our Healthcare system for decades to come.”

With senior leadership experience across the public and private sectors, including executive roles at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Ms. Boughn has seen government HealthIT programs from many different perspectives. In a FedHealthIT article published earlier this year, Ms. Boughn shared her “Surprises From the ‘Other’ Side of Health IT Procurement”, where she reflected on how consultants and government agencies can work together more cohesively. At Ai, Ms. Boughn provides strategic consulting services to federal and state government leaders, helping them to achieve program and business goals through wise investments in technology and operations.

Ai supports Federal clients in both a policy and technical capacity, including the Office of National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) and the Center for Medicaid Services (CMS). Government buyers can access Ai’s services through our contract vehicles, which include: CMS Strategic Partners Acquisition Readiness Contract (SPARC) IDIQ (8a) (HHS-wide, 2017-2027), GSA STARS II (8a), and GSA IT Schedule 70 (HIT SIN).
