Health Information Organizations (HIOs)

How We Help Our HIO Clients

Assess market needs and opportunities

  • Implementing the right technology at the right time to meet business needs is tricky, but also our specialty. Work with us to identify the gaps and map out the path forward.

Stay ahead of health IT policy regulatory standards

  • Rigorous health IT policy requirements demand rigorous market research to go into them. Our subject matter experts provide environmental scans as well as advise how to meet existing and forthcoming regulations.

Strategize for Medicaid Technology Projects

  • Deploying Health IT infrastructures in support of Medicaid clients requires a plan and funding. We will work in partnership with Medicaid Agencies to leverage enhanced federal money to cover much of the cost of new technology tools.

Effectively match records

  • Streamlining patient and provider information from multiple sources in real-time provides an understanding of how care is delivered across an enterprise. By having an up-to-date data infrastructure, care coordination tools perform better.

Build EHR Functionality

  • Getting all hospitals to adapt an EHR system is one task—getting the most use of that data once it’s set up is another. Analyzing the quality of EHR data coming in and finding opportunities to improve will strengthen your network.

Aggregate disparate medical systems

  • Developing interfaces to integrate data and making prescription drug information accessible while complying with health IT standards is a big job. HIOs rely on our integration experts to monitor their complex data ecosystems.

Support healthcare reform initiatives

  • Providing high level overviews of hospital performance or illustrating dynamic population reports through visualizations and analytics supports quality improvement, strategic planning, and financial modeling.

Avoid unnecessary readmissions

  • Better communication enables better healthcare. When care transitions take place, providers can receive real-time notifications on their patients’ status to initiate follow-up care.

Provide population health reporting

  • Help providers meet the requirements of EHR incentive and value-based payment programs by calculating eCQMs.

Offer connected providers a simplified workflow

  • To maximize time spent with patients, we have developed a tool to allow providers to spend less time navigating their way between various documentation systems—a unified landing page.

How We Help Our Provider Clients

Accurately match patient records

  • Understanding the complexities that hospitals and health systems face sets our Master Data Management team apart from other technology vendors.

Enable a culture of sharing valuable data

  • By approaching implementations from a clinical perspective, we provide speed and value-added functionalities to caregivers so it will fit naturally into their workflow.

Access data from disparate sources

  • Advancing nationwide interoperability starts with connecting data within HIE networks so care teams can work more effectively.

Make informed decisions from targeted analytics

  • If a picture says a thousand words, then why not create data visualizations to make organizational data and patient demographics digestible for decision makers?

Deliver solutions driving high-quality, coordinated patient care

  • Our solutions help providers deliver exceptional care to their patients across a variety of care settings including hospitals, ambulatory clinics, provider organizations, LTPAC, and hospice and palliative care organizations.
